Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Review

The new device is equipped with the most powerful processor Qualcomm, which appeared on the market in early 2019 and gained its place in all the top flagships of the current year. Like its predecessor, Black Shark 2 is made of glass and metal, but the design has changed a bit still keeping the overall style.

The Black Shark 2 uses a third-generation cooling system. The system dissipates heat over the entire area of the rear cover, and this makes it possible to reduce the chip temperature by as much as 14 degrees. The 1st generation Black Shark also had a similar system, but now it has increased 5 times. Also, a multi-layer graphite substrate is used to cool the chipset - due to this, even in extreme conditions, the processor does not heat up above 45 degrees.

The capacious 4000 mAh battery contributes to long and uninterrupted gaming, and although the battery capacity has not changed compared to the previous version of the smartphone, thanks to the energy efficient screen and processor, the autonomy was increased by more than 50%. Fast charging QuickCharge 4.0 with a power of 27 W is capable of providing a charge for a whole hour of games in just 10 minutes.

Hardware innovations are far from everything that has been updated in the Black Shark 2 model. The developers have significantly improved some important functions of the gaming smartphone, taking care of performance and battery life. For example, a user can unload all processes running in the background and thereby free up resources for the application currently required. Also, Xiaomi has equipped the device with a new antenna system "X + 2" (additionally, two antennas appeared on the side faces), which allows you to better catch the network signal and minimize delays in online games.

Not only does the company care about gaming capabilities: The Black Shark 2 is equipped with the newest 48 MP Sony IMX586 camera with an aperture of f / 1.75 aperture. An additional 12MP module is used for dual optical zoom with a focal length of 51 mm. In addition to high-quality mobile photography, FullHD video recording is available at speeds up to 960FPS.

Black Shark 2 - the best gift for a geek or gamer

The Black Shark 2 is a unique combination of advanced technology, low price and excellent battery life. Any advanced user of mobile gadgets, and especially a professional (or self-conscious) mobile gamer, will be happy with this package.
